Sport Weight Yarn
Olive Branch yarns provided the inspiration for this set of designs. I met the dyer at a market and selected these 2 colors.
70% Non-SW Merino, 30% Tussah Silk, this Sport weight yarn is very lofty and worked up almost to DK thickness. This provided the warmth and beauty I envisenged for this set.
DK Weight Yarn
My friend Angela from Blackwattle Alpaca yarns suggested this pairing of 2 colors.
55% Blue Faced Leicester and 45% Silk, this DK weight yarn is simply gorgeous.Â
Sadly, in September 2025, Blackwattle announced they are in the process of closing down, so there is unlikely to be any more of her yarn in my projects.
