Description
Rapt in Hearts
Wrap your shoulders in love!
Using the Rapt in Hearts crochet pattern, make a light, lacy shawl dotted with beautiful hearts.
- Learn or revise some more advanced stitches (like the post stitch) as you create a beautiful Rapt in Hearts Shawl
- The regular stitch changes keep things interesting, and the section-by-section charts included help you stay on track
- Worked in rows, you can make this wrap as wide or long as you prefer, simply by adding or removing stitches / repeats of the pattern
- Includes options for trimming the ends of your wrap – from simple fringing (like my silk version), to a simple ending (like the burgundy version). For the full effect, though, aim to finish with the large hearts on the ends, like in my purple/aqua/purple shawl.
- If you are an intermediate level crocheter, you will find this pattern easily achievable; confident beginners should give it a go!
- Full written and pictorial instructions are included, as well as charts, so that you will successfully create this hat over and over again
- Rapt Hearts Crochet Pattern has been tested by independent crocheters
- I’m always happy to help if you have questions, so please contact me to send a message direct to my inbox.
The pattern is instantly available in both standard US terms and Standard UK/AU terms, with step-by-step instructions, charts and photos to help guide your hook to completion.

Yarn picks...

Fiona (pattern designer)
This yarn is Ann Collins Textile Design Mulberry Silk 2/20 It's lace weight, but on the label it was recommended that 2 strands could be worked together. It was this yarn that inspired Rapt in Hearts, and I gave the resulting wrap to a friend before she moved away.

Mary Lou (pattern tester)
Premier Yarns Cotton Fair was Mary Lou's choice for her pattern test. She did a single repeat of the design and left the ends plain.

I've had this yarn in my stash for many years. DK weight from Touch Yarns, New Zealand. Expertly blended possom fur, merino wool and mohair to create a super-soft, exquisite yarn. It is then hand painted with vibrant colours. This shawl is spectactular - here's a link to the YouTube short: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/kp-zDSpxIDc!

Australian Supreme Sock Wool in Blackberry from Sally Ridgway Yarns made this version a perfect engagement gift for my friend in the blue hat!
