I'm Published!

Working with magazines was a new experience in 2021/2022.

It was exciting when I was told that I’d have TWO patterns published in the Australian publication: Homespun Crochet: Beginners & Beyond, Issue 3!

Working with talented indie-dyer, Sally Ridgway, I designed both a gorgeous wrap using a super-soft 4-skein fade in Supreme Sock.  The Fade was called “Garden Bouquet”:

Dew Drops & Sun Beams

The Dew Drops and Sun Beams Shawl has now returned to my shop, but this is how it appeared in the magazine:

Trellis Mitts

Intended to look like a garden trellis, the Trellis Mitts crochet pattern is intermediate level, mostly because the special version of “cross-stitch” is a little tricky.

I used Sally’s 8 ply Australian Merino  to create 3 pairs of fingerless gloves for the spread.

This pattern has also returned to my shop, but this was the main photo in the magazine:

Spring's Caress Wrap:

I was honored to have a pattern published in Annie’s “Crochet World” – One-Skein Crochet, January 2022.

The Cover looked like this:

Crochet World Preview

The pattern I designed & made for this issue was called “Spring’s Caress Wrap”.  A light and airy one-skein project that I created using a Scheepjes Woolly Whirl (Creme Anglaise center):

This pattern was sold to Annie’s outright, so will never return to my website.
If you want to make this yourself, the magazine isn’t too expensive:
